Two strangers we were,
Unaware of each other’s existence.
As a punishment,
Ended up together,
In the same bench.
He was silent,
Maybe a little shy.
For no reason
I pushed him off the bench,
I made a joke of him,
I depredated his tiffin.
Still nothing came out,
Of those stitched lips.
For some reason
I wanted to talk,
I was curious,
He should have took his stand.
But for some reasons
He remained neutral
Eventually
He got lost,
Lost from the morning assembly bell,
Lost after the tiffin bell,
And lost after the last school bell.
